The following shipping instructions are for:
USA | Canada | Mexico | South America | Caribbean

Shipping within USA:
BoingSafety ships exclusively via FedEx. Unfortunately we cannot accept online orders outside USA/Canada/Mexico/Caribbean/South America.

Alaska/Hawaii Customers:

FedEx "Ground" shipments may be available to some locations for a lower price than 2nd Day or Overnight shipping.

Typically, "Ground" shipments can take between 5 to 8 days to arrive.

Email us directly for a "Ground" shipping quote. Please provide the following information in your email: Item(s) wanted, your exact shipping address.

  1. Fedex Delivery Method

For shipments in the USA, all the basic shipping options and prices are clearly indicated on the website shopping cart. These shipping charges are based on FedEx Ground and Express rates according to the product weight, dimensions, and destination zip code.

Generally, FedEx will deliver to most business and residential locations.

Unless specified, or unless deemed not to be suitable, the FedEx driver may leave a package in a “safe” designated location, if the customer is not there. To “guarantee delivery”, customer will need to specify “Signature Required” for delivery. (FedEx charges an additional fee).

BoingSafety is not responsible for the loss of or damage to any packages left by FedEx as part of their normal delivery procedures.

  1. Delivery Time

The times will vary with the product type, delivery method and the season.

Preparation Time:
BoingSafety is able to get the product ready for shipping within one or two business days.

Actual Shipping time:
Fedex delivery times will vary by distance from our warehouse Atlanta GA. For example:

  • Deliveries to the Southeast USA may take 1-2 business days.
  • Deliveries to the West Coast may take 5-6 business days.

Customers will be notified by phone or e-mail if there will be a longer delay.

Christmas and other holiday seasons will increase shipping times.

  1. Express Deliveries

Express delivery is only available for certain products to certain destinations.

  1. Damage Claim

BoingSafety is NOT responsible for damages caused by the freight carrier.

BoingSafety requires all damages to be reported at the time of delivery

Damages can be as a result of:

  • Shipping damage while in transit
    - Continue below with steps you need to take
  • Manufacturer’s defect
    - See Warranty

Please ensure that you inspect all the goods in your order as soon as it arrives. If the box(es) or crate(s) appears to be damaged or punctured, that’s a clue that the contents may also be damaged.

If on inspection, you find such unacceptable damage to the product, do not accept the shipment. Write “DAMAGED” on the bill of lading or delivery receipt the driver gives you. Contact BoingSafety immediately.

Contact the carrier’s main office and request an inspection. If you do not do this, we cannot help you.

After you have opened your order, if you find some hidden damages, please contact BoingSafety. Please save the boxes and we will help you file a freight claim and try and get the necessary parts (if possible) to make the product meet factory specifications. If the freight company is at fault, they will compensate you for the damages/repair/replacement.

If you find that there is a defect in the product that was not caused by the shipping, this will be processed as a warranty claim. See Warranty.

  1. Delivery Problems

FedEx ships thousands of packages on a daily basis. There may be rare occasions where FedEx picks up a package from BoingSafety and then does not deliver because the package got misplaced or lost in their system.

Once FedEx has picked up and provided a confirmation of pickup, BoingSafety has no legal responsibility for the package. We will help the customer identify the lost package problem and report it to FedEx.

Once FedEx confirms they have lost the product, they will authorize a "re-shipment" of the lost product and assume the cost of shipment for that product. BoingSafety will then pack the replacement product and turn over to FedEx for delivery.

  1. Tracking

If the delivery time of a product has exceeded an acceptable arrival time limit,  the customer is required to contact BoingSafety customer service and we will obtain the tracking number or other confirmation of shipment.

The longer the customer delays, the harder it is to find out what happened to the product.

If the customer will be away from the destination point at the time of delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to prevent theft by porch pirates.

If PinchShield is being delivered to a facility, staff on location must be made aware of expected delivery.

  1. Truck Freight Delivery

If the order is for larger, heavier items that cannot be shipped via FedEx Ground or Express, it may require Freight delivery – this means delivered by truck. This option is rarely required.

There are 4 different options for truck unloading at your address:

  • Truck backs up to a standard loading dock – customer is required to offload directly.
  • Customer offloads manually from the back of truck (no dock). Do not count on driver’s assistance.
  • Lift-gate Option. Additional up-front lift-gate fee. Driver lowers pallet/carton to ground only.
  • Inside delivery. Additional up-front fees. Service may not be available everywhere

All these freight delivery conditions must be negotiated in advance.

  1. Shipping outside USA

Other than for Canada, we cannot accept online orders.

Shipping to USA Overseas Facilities | APO/FPO

  • FedEx will not ship to APO/FPO addresses
  • Depending on the dimensions of the shipper box, it may be oversize for shipping by US Post

Canada
BoingSafety can be shipped to Canada. Shipping rates will be quoted through the website at the time of checkout.

Currently the customer is only required to pay BoingSafety for the FedEx shipping charges.

However, after the product has been shipped, the customer will be contacted by FedEx Trade Networks to pay additional fees such as Brokerage Fees, Customs Duties and HST (Federal and Provincial sales tax).

BoingSafety does not have an account set up with the Canadian or Provincial Governments to collect and submit such fees. That is all handled by FedEx Trade Networks.

All products are priced in $ USD - we do not provide currency conversion.

The website will provide a shipping quote in $ USD.

Payment is via credit card or PayPal.

Customers must pay the following directly to the broker Fedex Trade Networks:

  • brokerage fees
  • duty
  • HST (varies by Province)

NOTE: We cannot calculate these fees in advance.

Mexico | South America | Caribbean

There are two options

  1. Add items to your cart and a shipping quote should be provided during checkout. If one is not given, email us directly with a list of items wanted, along with the exact shipping address. Customer is responsible for any FedEx Trade Network Fees. Duties, taxes, etc. are the responsibility of the customer.

  1. We will ship to your freight forwarder at a continental USA location. Shipping will be calculated via Fedex to that location only. Onward delivery, duties, taxes etc. are the responsibility of the customer.
